TRUSTED EXPERIENCE

Matt Wasserloos started his career in turf grass management where he worked managing maintenance operations at several prestigious high-end private country clubs and golf resorts throughout the North East.

He was also awarded the coveted USGA Green Section internship and shadowed under an Agronomist consulting with Superintendents at some of the top-rated country clubs in the metropolitan areas of New York and Connecticut.

After fifteen years of broad experience in the turf grass management field, Matt pursued his interests in horticulture and managed the nursery operations at a high-end, independent garden center in the Monadnock region of New Hampshire, for a period of fifteen years.  With his strong management and leadership style, Matt transformed the garden center to become one of the best in the region.

In addition to three decades of experience in the green industry, Matt has degrees in turf grass management and plant and soil science, from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and the University of Massachusetts, as well as a certificate in Environmental Planning from the Audubon Institute.

Thriving Grounds Landscaping was established to offer professional high-end customized grounds maintenance and fine gardening services throughout Western Massachusetts and Southern New Hampshire.

Seasonal

Four Seasons of Color

Thriving Grounds creates seasonal annual planters that add color and interest to enhance your home's entrances, patios, decks, pool areas and walkways. Both common and unique annuals are used for stunning displays.

Safety

Mosquito and Tick Control

Tick and mosquito-borne diseases have reached epidemic levels here in North East over the past decade.

Thriving Grounds offers a very safe and effective organic approach to controlling both ticks and mosquitos.  This program requires five treatments throughout the growing season from spring to fall and achieves 90% control of both mosquitos and ticks.

These treatments are 100% natural and consist of mint, garlic and cedarwood oils.  Safe for pets humans and the environment.

Our applicators are fully licensed to spray these products in the safest manner possible!
