He holds degrees in Turfgrass Management and Plant and Soil Science from the Stockbridge School of Agriculture and the University of Massachusetts. Matt started his journey in turfgrass management, where he was the superintendent for high-end private country clubs and golf resorts throughout the North East. During this time, Matt earned a certificate in Environmental Planning from the Audubon Institute for the course work at Echo Lake Country Club in New Jersey. Wanting to expand his career he transitioned to nursery operations for an independent garden center in the Monadnock region (NH). With his exceptional management and leadership skills, he was able to transform the garden center into one of the most renowned in the region.
